What you want to do is to to eliminate debt and increase your credit scores. There are companies out there who will claim to help you do that, but you do not need them, and, from what I have learned, many of them work with credit card companies TO MAKE SURE THOSE COMPANIES GET PAID. That means they are not really working for you, but for your creditors. Plus, they often charge you money that can be better put to use actually eliminating debt yourself. Some of them also end up actually lowering your credit scores because their services are reported to the credit reporting agencies. So, before you get sucked into one of the credit repair or debt elimination programs that seem to abound, read what I have been able to learn and accomplish by my own research. Again, if I can do it, so can you. And you have help: I have done a lot of the research for you, and I have been doing the work myself, and, it is working -- so long as I keep using my notebook, staying disciplined and doing my research.
